Atelier GX/ GX-2 Paris

Hey Everyone, I’m Kelly and I’ll be guest blogging for Gabrielle!! I’m so honored to be a guest blogger here on 5am je t’aime, Gabrielle’s blog is just chocked filled with beautiful and romantic images.

I’ve been interning in Taiwan for the summer, and have been researching a profound amount of international designers. And it has opened my eyes to the world of Asian Fashion. Happily, I discovered Gaowei + Zinzhan, who are a duo from China who actually own a couterier in France! I think it is so exciting and wonderful to see Chinese designers entering the couture industry in one of the world’s fashion capitals. They have two brands:  AtelierGX as well as there ready to wear collection, GX-2 Paris. To me it seems they embody elegance and use patterned fabrics to create something that really stirs up one’s imagination. I really love the work they create.

    Gabrielle! Can I call you Gabby? You know what I’m just going to call you Gabby whether you like it or not! lol. I just got back from France and it was absolutely wonderful. I was going to jump online and message you to see if we could meet up for a latte and talk about conductor hats but Benny said I wouldn’t be able to get to your blog from my laptop (OMG i love my pearl white minibook) while I was in wee pary. And he said even if I did it would have been so slow with the data going back to the states, then over to your blog in france, then back to the states, then back to my laptop in france. Anyway I don’t get any of the internet stuff I let Benny handle all that (he isn’t just good for driving trucks!). But anyway I get on here and I see that you weren’t there anyway, you are off in Taiwan now! Good for you you little fashinista globetrotter you. Anyway I’m heading downstairs to the cafe, choi! Or I guess now with you over in the east I should say sayonara! lolx2!
